On the sidelines of his participation in a forum held in South Korea, the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Green Party, Dr. Hendren Ashraf Noman, held meetings on 11 June 2023 with Green representatives and delegations participating in the forum from Côte d’Ivoire and Kyrgyzstan.
Dr. Hendren Ashraf Noman met with Rose Kone, Founding President of the Green Party of Côte d’Ivoire (Rassemblement des Verts Ivoiriens – RAVI), and her accompanying delegation. The meeting included an exchange of views on environmental issues, the role of Green parties in promoting environmental protection and sustainable development, and the importance of communication and exchanging experience among Green political movements in different countries.
He also met with Erkin Bulekbaev, a representative of the Institute of Environmental Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic, and his accompanying delegation. The discussions addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, particularly environmental matters and ways to strengthen cooperation, communication, and the exchange of experiences and expertise.
The meetings provided an opportunity to introduce the experience and environmental vision of the Kurdistan Green Party, while also expanding its communication and relations with Green figures, institutions, and movements at the international level.
These meetings formed part of the activities of the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Green Party during his visit to South Korea and participation in the forum, with the aim of strengthening international dialogue and cooperation on environmental and climate issues and sustainable development.
