On the sidelines of his participation in the conference held in South Korea, the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Green Party, Dr. Hendren Ashraf Noman, met on 14 June 2023 with representatives of the Greens in Austria and the Mongolian Green Party, as part of a series of meetings with representatives of Green parties and movements participating in the conference.
During his meeting with the Austrian side, Dr. Hendren Ashraf Noman met with Katrin Fallmann, a member of the Green Group in the Austrian Parliament and assistant to Member of Parliament Ewa Ernst-Dziedzic. The meeting addressed several issues of mutual interest, particularly environmental protection, Green political action, and the importance of strengthening communication and cooperation among Green political forces at the international level.
Dr. Hendren Ashraf Noman also met with Dulgun Bumyalagch, International Secretary of the Mongolian Green Party. They exchanged views on environmental and climate issues and discussed ways to strengthen communication and exchange experiences and expertise between the Kurdistan Green Party and the Mongolian Green Party.
The meetings provided an opportunity to introduce the vision, activities, and environmental priorities of the Kurdistan Green Party, as well as to learn about Green experiences in Austria and Mongolia, contributing to broader communication and relations with the international Green movement.
These meetings formed part of the Kurdistan Green Party’s participation in international activities and its efforts to strengthen dialogue and exchange experiences on environmental protection, climate change, sustainable development, and cooperation among Green parties and movements.
